I grew up in the North Georgia Mountains in the small town of Hiawassee. Living near Lake Chatuge fishing became my pastime. My little brother and I would sneak down to the lake and fish all day, then race back to the house to beat mom or dad home from work. As a teenager, I spent most of my time tromping up and down every trout stream I could get to. Trout fishing is my passion. I believe that trout fishing is the most gratifying because it causes one to lose all sense of time forgetting the pressures of modern living. The most therapeutic sounds are those of rushing water, nature, and seclusion. I have fished up and down the east coast, but have made my home on the beautiful Cumberland River located in Burkesville, KY. I have caught many big fresh water fish from 18" crappie, trophy bass, bluegill, 30lbs salmon, to trophy trout, but I'll have to admit there's nothing more fun than catching a nice rainbow on light tackle using a fly rod. The salmon fly fishing is a close second, minus the line cuts and bruised knuckles.
My fishing goals are to share my adventures with all I can, provide a stress free,but thrilling experience and teach fishing techniques. I'll work hard to catch you fish.
